This handcrafted solar system mobile is both decorative and educational.

The planets mobile represents the galaxy and the universe replicating all the planets that move around the Sun. This ceiling decor is a great decoration for your office as well as a great nursery mobile in a kid's playroom. It most definitely will add space and brighten any room with its colorful appearance.

It is easier to understand Newtonian and Galilean theories, and great historical discoveries when viewing the solar system on a smaller scale. Reduced in size models of our planetary system, revolving around the Sun and not the Earth as early scientists believed, this mobile will fascinate the young in age and youthful in heart.

There are 10 planets in this mobile. The white tags in some of the pictures are for easy assembly. They have names on them, all you have to do is to match those names. After the installation, you can remove the tags.

I have a rather eclectic decoration style in my home--something like you might expect from Indiana Jones. Every time someone enters my home, the featured mobile is the first thing they notice. So far, everyone loves it. In any case, I love it, so it will be with me awhile.

This mobil is truly AMAZING. My six year old son picked this out for his bedroom in our new house, and all of us were blown away by this. It's big but the detail, the construction, the thought way it was shipped and helpful assembly instructions made this so easy to get up and SO MUCH FUN to hang and then admire. I couldn't recommend it more.
