They are built to scale with high-grade wood such as western red cedar, rosewood, and mahogany, using the plank-on-frame construction method, similar to the building of actual ships. Each model requires hundreds of hours to finish and undergoes a rigorous quality control process before leaving the workshop.

This Shrimp Boat model is a remarkable piece. It's handmade from strips of teak and mahogany and painted in black and white. The hull features fishing nets on both sides, along with wooden crates. The cabin is painted white with tinted blue windows, and an anchor is prominently displayed on the deck along with other boat gear. The nets, mast, and rigging add a special touch to this model. It's secured on a solid wooden base with a brass nameplate, making it a perfect gift for home or office decor, boating enthusiasts, or passionate collectors.

Shrimp boats, like this one, are a common sight across the Gulf of Mexico.
