The Pilar was the beloved fishing boat of Ernest Hemingway, the renowned author and passionate sport fisherman. This 38-foot vessel was constructed by the Wheeler Shipyard in 1934 and was named after a bullfight shrine in Zaragoza, Spain, that Hemingway visited. This shrine is notably mentioned in Hemingway's book "For Whom the Bell Tolls". The original boat, painted green instead of its original black, rests at Hemingway's Finca Vigia estate in San Francisco de Paula, Cuba.

This model is the officially licensed replica of the famous Hemingway Pilar Fishing Boat. It's handcrafted by skilled artisans using the original plans and painted in green and black to mirror the Pilar's current and original colors. The model is incredibly detailed, featuring a wooden chair, a wooden bed, metal railings, and a metal steering wheel. It also comes with a wooden stand and is ready to be displayed.
