Horus Holding The Was Scepter

Horus was the sky god and the protector of kings, usually shown falcon headed and armed. He stands here in full stride, the was scepter in one hand as a sign of dominion, an ankh in the other for life itself.

The falcon head is where the sculpting earns its keep. The feathers are cut individually around the eyes and crown, and the blue and gold paintwork across his kilt and collar is applied over bronze so the metal still shows through at the edges.
