Steampunk Mechanicus Apple Clock

A brass apple sitting on a desk, until you notice the seam running around it. The outside is plated and riveted with a stem and leaf worked in copper, and the proportions are close enough to a real apple that people pick it up without asking.

It opens on a hinge. Inside, a clock face is set into one half and the other half is hollow, so it works as a small desk clock and a place to put rings or cufflinks at the same time. Closed, it gives nothing away.
