Vintage Cream World Globe With A Navigational Arrow

A small desk globe with a soft cream map, the kind printed to look like an old chart rather than a modern atlas. The continents are outlined in warm brown and the oceans carry compass roses in the corners.

What sets it apart is the frame. The brass meridian ring is topped with a long arrow finial that runs straight through the poles, and there is a knurled brass thumbscrew on the side so you can lock the globe at whatever tilt you like. It sits on a turned wood base with a brass collar and small brass ball feet.

It is a desk-sized piece rather than a floor globe, so it fits on a shelf, a side table, or a stack of books.
