Vintage Hanging Globe On A Wooden Stand

A small antique style globe suspended from a curved brass arm on a solid wood base. Instead of sitting in a cradle it hangs free, so it turns easily and you can spin it round to any ocean you like.

The map is printed in the old manner, warm parchment seas with the continents outlined in orange and red, and the Pacific carries its period name, Mer du Sud ou Pacifique. The brass column and hook have an aged finish and the base is a shaped hardwood plinth.

Featured details

  • Globe hangs free from a curved brass hook and turns in any direction
  • Antique style parchment map with period French place names
  • Aged brass column with a shaped hardwood base

  • No assembly required
