Wood And Brass Sand Timer Hourglass 10 minutes

A warm-toned hourglass with round wooden discs on top and bottom and four polished brass posts holding the glass between them. The wood is left with its grain showing and the brass is bright rather than aged, so the two materials play off each other.

It is a good size for a desk, a mantel or a bookshelf, and the pale sand reads clearly against the dark wood. Simple, well proportioned and quietly useful.
